Course Overview:

Under the NSW Occupational Health & Safety act, all employers have a duty to consult with their employees.  This obligation may be met by establishing an OH&S Committee or an OH&S representative.   Both safety committees and safety representatives must be trained in order to understand their role and to carry out their responsibilities effectively.  This is a Workcover NSW accredited course that will satisfy this requirement.

Course Duration:

It is a Workcover NSW requirement that this course runs for 4 days. These days need not be consecutive, however the course must be completed within 2 months of commencement.

Public courses typically run from:
Sydney CBD - 9:00am to 4:00pm

$525.00 per participant.
This course is GST exempt.

Successful participants will receive a Workcover accredited certificate of completion.

  • This course is worth 96 points under the Department of Fair trading Home Building CPD system.
  • This course may be worth 24 hours under other CPD systems.

 

Course Notes:

All participants receive comprehensive notes and handouts that can be used as reference after the course.

 

Participant Identification :

All participants must provide suitable photo ID. Workcover NSW Proof of Identification (POI) requirements can be found here. Participants without suitable POI will not be permitted to remain in the course. Refunds are not provided for participants who do not have the required POI documents with them at training.
