The OHS Consultation course was replaced with the HSR training course on 1 January 2012.
The HSR Training Course for Health & Safety Representives is now the approved course by Workcover NSW.
Under the NSW Occupational Health & Safety act, all employers have a duty to consult with their employees.
Students who have completed the OHS Consultation Course may complete a 1 day HSR bridging course and will be deemed to have completed the 5 Day HSR Training Course.
The new 5 day course is formally refered to as the Health and Safety representative (HSR) training course.
