Course Overview:

To provide participants with the basic knowledge and skills to apply the provisions of the NSW OHS law regarding manual handling, and to familiarise participants with the manual handling code of Practice.  For employees this includes participation in the process of identifying, assessing and controlling manual handling risks.   Supervisors and line managers should also have the skills and knowledge required to implement a program of identification, assessment and control within the context of an overall manual handling system.

  • Working through A Problem

  • Effective Communication in implementing Manual Handling legislation

Certification:

  • This course may be worth 4 hours under other CPD systems.
