Course Overview:
This is a WorkCover Accredited course designed to train a person as a RTW Coordinator according to the requirements of the NSW Workers Compensation legislation. A RTW Coordinator is a key person involved in the management of injured workers.
Under workers compensation law Category 1 employers must have a return-to-work coordinator.
A Category 1 employer is an employer whose basic tariff premium exceeds $50,000, self insurers, and employers who are insured by a specialised insurer, and who employ more than 20 workers.

- Identify the key steps in developing a return to work program
- Develop a simple return to work plan
- List the main components of the WorkCover Scheme
- Be aware of the principles of premium calculation
- Identify key issues in working with doctors and providers
- Provide basic information regarding worker entitlements

Successful participants will receive a Workcover
accredited certificate of completion.
