This course is often referred to as the NSW OHS Green Card Training course. There is no difference between the Green Card training or White Card training course from our training menu.
To obtain a job on a building or construction site in NSW it is a requirement that everyone holds a current Occupational Health & Safety Certificate, or “Construction White Card”. The white card is compulsory for each person as proof of completion of the "OHS General Induction for Construction Work" training. This course is often referred to as the NSW OHS Green Card Training course.
This white card training course satisfies the legal requirements for General OHS Construction Induction for construction workers in NSW. This white card training course is officially know as 'Work Safely in the Construction Industry' or 'CPCCOHS100A'.
Permitting a person to commence work at a construction site without having completed the required white card induction training carries a maximum penalty of $3600 for an individual or $18000 for a body corporate. This training must be provided by the person Conducting a Business or undertaking. The penalty for not providing this training is $3600 for an individual or $18000 for a body corporate. (Clause 316 and Clause 317 of the NSW WHS Regulations 2012)
Easy HR is approved by Workcover NSW to conduct General Construction Induction Training. (Approval Number C09388).
If you live in NSW you are not permitted to complete the White Card Training online.

White Card Age Limit :
It is a Workcover NSW requirement that all participants who undertake White Card training are at least 14 years at the time of completing the course.
White Card Training Course Content:
- Identify OHS legislative requirements.
- Identify construction hazards and control measures.
- Identify OHS communication and reporting processes.
- Identify OHS incident response procedures.
Certification:
Successful white card participants will receive an interim statement of training on the day.
The appropriate credit card sized wallet card will be issued directly by Workcover NSW.
Participants must complete the full course to be eligible for a certificate.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD):
This course may be worth 6 hours under other CPD systems.
White Card Course Notes:
All participants receive notes and handouts that can be used as reference after the course.
Participant Identification :
All participants must provide 100 points of Identification. Workcover NSW Proof of Identification (POI) requirements can be found here.
Participants without suitable POI will not be permitted to remain in the course.
Refunds are not provided to participants who are unable to provide suitable identification on the day.
