Is this Course Nationally Recognised?
| Yes - Easy HR Pty Ltd is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO Number 91334). Easy HR offers competency based training programs that meet the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) standards. This means that courses are nationally recognised in post- compulsory education and training within Australia. The Company conducts courses that are accredited and recognised by the relevant government bodies and educational institutions; qualifications received at Easy HR are portable between all Registered Training Organisations. |

Some other companies are offering the same course but it has a different course code?
Easy HR offers BSB51307, which is the latest Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety. Some companies might still be offering BSB51604, the old course, which has been superceded by BSB51307.
How will I receive course materials.
We will forward course training materials to you by post.
Are there any additional fees?
Generally No - the course fee stated on the website includes all mandatory course materials. Should you wish to purchase additional texts, or resources you may do so, but you will be required to pay for them. There are some additional fees for assignments that must be marked multiple times (more than twice) as well as for students requesting an extension.
How Can I pay?
When you enrol we will forward you an invoice for payment. The invoice must be paid before we ship any training materials to you. Payment can be made by Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Cheque, or Electronic Funds Transfer. Credit card payments are accepted online via our secure server. A surcharge may apply for some credit card payments.
How will I submit assignments
Assignments can be submitted by email, fax, or via our secure website.
What support is available to distance education students
Trainers are available for telephone contact. Please call our office and your trainer will call you back at a mutually suitable time. Trainers are happy to return calls after hours if they are available. Students may also email or fax trainers. Trainers will usually respond within 12 hours, but please allow 24 hours for a reply. Our trainer will also initiate regular telephone contact with you, throughout your enrolment.
When must I submit assignments
For distance education, Assignments can be submitted at any time. However please remember that the course must be completed within 12 months, so its best not to leave everything until the last minute. Face to face students must submit assignments by the date specified by the trainer.
Can I get an extension on submitting assignments?
It is your responsibility to make sure you complete the assignment by the due date. If you think you should be granted an extension, please call you trainer before the assignment is due to discuss your specific situation.
What happens if my assignment is graded as 'Not Yet Competent'?
Students are given an additional opportunity to resubmit the assignment. There is no fee for the first resubmission of an assignment. Additional marking fees will apply for assignments submitted 3 or more times for marking. you will always be provided with written feedback in relation to your assignment.
Can I appeal if I am not happy with my grade?
Yes - Our office can offer more details on the appeals process.
Will Easy HR take my work experience and prior learning into account?
Of course we will. We may be able to give you credit for units that you can show competency for. Before we do this, we will need to see evidence of competency. Participants with relevant nationally recognised qualifications from registered training organisations can request advanced standing or credit for parts of their course.
I have a disability. Will this prevent me from studying with Easy HR?
Easy HR is committed to ensuring that everybody is given a fair opportunity to study with us. We will make reasonable adjustments in order to cater for the needs of clients with a disability. In some cases this may not be possible, as we are required to comply with competency requirements as specified in the course materials. If your disability prevents you from demonstrating competency, you may not be able to qualify for the course.
