HSR 5 Day Training Course (SafeWork NSW Approved)


Health and Safety Representative Training will give HSRs and deputy HSRs the skills and knowledge required under the new Work Health and Safety (WHS) Act 2011.

ThisHealth and Safety Representative (HSR) Training course meets the requirements for elected HSRs and deputy HSRs under the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Act.

This HSR training course should be attended by elected HSRs who have requested approved training under the WHS Act to assist them in performing their role and using their powers under the WHS Act.

Participants will gain an understanding of their role and powers and attain the necessary skills to meet the requirements of the WHS Act for elected Health and Safety Representatives.

HSRs are entitled to a one day HSR Refresher Training Course every year.


NSW HSR Course Approval

Easy HR is approved by SafeWork NSW to run the Initial 5 day HSR training course. It is a SafeWork NSW requirement that HSR training courses be conducted over 5 days, however the HSR course does not need to be conducted over 5 consecutive days.

  • Day 5 - Provisional Improvement Notices (PINs) and ceasing unsafe work

Evidence of Identity

Participants at Health and Safety training courses will need to provide evidence of identity which include photo identification and documents with current address.
